Namely's Response to Continued Violence Against The Asian Pacific Islander Community

In response to the continued violence against the Asian Pacific Islander (API) community, we find it important to reiterate that Namely is committed to diversity, inclusion, and equity. We strongly condemn these, and all, acts of intolerance and racism.

To the families affected and to the entire API community, we stand with you and grieve with you.

It is time for us all to do our part to #StopAsianHate.

In close collaboration with representatives of our employee resource groups (ERGs) and the leadership team, we have committed to the following in immediate response to recent events:

1. We pledge to continue to work within our organization to address our own implicit biases and shortcomings and to cultivate an environment in which all feel included and empowered and where diversity is celebrated.
2. Namely will be matching (on a 2-to-1 basis) employee donations, which will continue until our designated funds are exhausted. We would encourage you to join us in this effort by supporting the worthy organizations that we have selected: Asian Pacific Policy and Planning Council, National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development, Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum, and Asian Americans Advancing Justice AAJC.

As a company, a country, and a world, we all must come together to stand up against hatred, racism, and bigotry in all its forms. As we have said before, inactivity or silence is not an option. Namely will to do its part to build a more just, equitable society and stand in solidarity with the API communities.
